For our last day before half term (24/5/2013), we are fortunate to welcome two guest speakers who will talk about responsive design and enlighten us all :)
Such a treat to have Bruce come back to visit us again, this time with Kaelig Deloumeau-Prigent who is a front-end web developer and worked on the BBC’s Responsive News project.

Inspect and preview web workflows on iOS and Android devices
Adobe® Shadow is a new inspection and preview tool that allows front-end web developers and designers to work faster and more efficiently by streamlining the preview process, making it easier to customize websites for mobile devices.
Shadow will be updated regularly to stay ahead of web standards, web browser updates and support for new mobile devices entering the market, while incorporating user feedback to provide the best functionality and experience possible.

As the web moves onto more and more different devices all the time - it is important for us to ensure that our sites display well on this variety of displays. Luckily the wonderful Ethan Marcotte has coined a term "responsive web design", or RWD, via his article on A List Apart.
