Let’s celebrate inspirational women – 16th Oct, Ada Lovelace Day :)

Ada Lovelace Day is about sharing stories of women — whether engineers, scientists, technologists or mathematicians — who have inspired you to become who you are today. The aim is to create new role models for girls and women in these male-dominated fields by raising the profile of other women in STEM.

    Thank you for sharing the information about Ada Lovelace with us. My role model is a late French/American artist Louise Bourgeois. She had her first major exhibition in her fifties…I adore her amazing indomitable spirit, clear vision and deep need to be creative. She continued making her massive iron sculptures until she died in her late nineties. Louise used to say: “Art is a guaranty of sanity”. This is true, art does keep us sane in this insane world.
