Let's take a closer look at the background property and experiment a little, getting familiar with both the shorthand and longhand method.

If you take a look online for reference for the background property you will find that CSS3 introduces a few new properties which we will look at soon as well. For now however, let's stay with CSS2.1 and see how creative we can get :)
